Caffè Gilli - A romantic & classy spot in the centre of the city. I have to be honest though, the drinks are a bit overpriced, but the location and the building are top notch!
La Bottega Bordo’ - Our favourite restaurant in Florence. It’s slightly out of the way but it’s definitely worth the journey! If you are also visiting the cute village Fiesole, make sure you stop by here for a pizza/pasta. And most importantly, the desserts!!
Vini E Vecchi Sapori - A hidden gem in the city. It’s easily missed when you walk past. Make sure you try the pasta and the raspberry tiramisu! *chef kissed
Trattoria Zà Zà - Probably one of the most well-known restaurants in Florence. We get the hype, because we had one of the best florentine steaks, and not to mention the truffle cream pasta! Heaven!!! (Definitely need to book in advance)
Cinque Terre - The famous five old fishing villages located by the coast. Taking a day trip here from Florence (or Pisa) is a must! Very unique and beautiful. You can even jump in the sea if it’s hot enough.
Piazzale Michelangelo - Perfect spot to gaze over the whole city! My fav activity on a sunny day was to get a gelato from Gelateria Della Passera then walk up to the Piazza to watch the sunset.
Fiesole - A very cute town located high on a hill, about 3 miles outside of Florence. It’s easy to get to by taking the number 7 bus from the city centre.
